Samsung unveils Galaxy Tab S10 lineup with AI features, S-Pen included, and MediaTek processor
On September 26, 2024, Samsung officially launched the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra, following a series of leaks that fueled speculation. To the surprise of many, the base Tab S10 model was omitted from the lineup. Both new devices come equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity processor, marking a shift from Samsung’s usual reliance on Snapdragon chips.
Design & Build
The Galaxy Tab S10+ and S10 Ultra feature aluminum builds and an ultra-slim design, measuring under 6mm in thickness. The Tab S10+ comes with a 12.4-inch display, while the S10 Ultra boasts a 14.6-inch screen, similar to last year’s Galaxy Tab S9 lineup. However, both models are slightly thinner—by 0.1mm—and weigh 15g less than their predecessors. Both tablets are IP68-certified, offering water and dust resistance, and they house MediaTek’s powerful Dimensity 9300+ chipset, the same one found in the Xiaomi 14T Pro.
Configurations
The Galaxy Tab S10+ comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, expandable via microSD, while the S10 Ultra can be configured with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
