Xiaomi Pad 8, Pad 8 Pro Certified Ahead of Global Launch
Xiaomi is preparing to deliver yet another new generation of tablets, this time the Pad 8. It will also receive a Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro version, which has just been certified. We have some details below.
Back in September, the Singapore authority IMDA approved two Xiaomi tablets, that were supposed to be part of the Pad 8 series. One of these models was already certified by the FCC. Now we also have certifications from the TDRA authority in the UAE. The new Xiaomi tablets are codenamed 25097RP43G and 25091RP04G. The marketing names of Xiaomi Pad 8 and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro have also been confirmed.

Keep in mind that these products have already been unveiled in China back in September 2025. The Xiaomi Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro share an 11.2 inch 3:2 LCD display with a 3200 x 2136 pixel resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate and 800 nits of peak brightness. There’s also Dolby Vision and true DC dimming. Both slates feature 9200 mAh batteries, they run on Android 16 and have HyperOS 3.0 on board, with support for Xiaomi Focus Touch Pen Pro.
There’s also WPS and CAD support, a quad speaker setup for entertainent and quad microphones. As far as connectivity goes, we’re covered, with Wi-Fi 7, USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, NFC and IR. Inside we find the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor for the Pad 8 and Snapdragon 8 Elite for the Pad 8 Pro. The first model has 45W charging, while the second gets 67W.
Finally, there’s PC grade features, a soft touch case and a 32 MP front camera for the Pro and a 50 MP back shooter. The non Pro has an 8 MP front cam and 13 MP back shooter.
I expect a debut for these models globally come MWC 2026, so early March.
