HMD T21 Announced: Midrange Tablet With Stylus Support, 15 Hours of Battery Life

HMD Global just debuted a bunch of Nokia products that have gone through some rebranding. We’re talking about the Nokia XR21 phone, which became the HMD XR21 and now the Nokia T21 tablet has become the HMD T21. Its midrange specs are detailed below.

The device has a 10.36 inch display, with a 5:3 format. It has stylus support and a promised battery life of up to 3 days. The product comes with Android 13, which is bizarre now that Android 15 has been unveiled. We are promised updates to Android 14 and 15 though. Also security patches till the summer of 2027. The midrange newcomer packs an IPS panel with a 5:3 format and a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels.

It’s compatible with a stylus that works according to the WGP or AES 2.0 standard. There’s no bundled pen, though. We do have stereo speakers, so we can enjoy music better. The 8200 mAh battery charges at up to 18 watts via USB-C. The product was tested and achieved a battery life of “up to 3 days”, being used for a total of 15 hours before the battery was exhausted.

It measures 7.5 mm in thickness, weighs 467 grams and uses an aluminum body. There’s an 8 megapixel camera in the mix, plus we also get Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 5 and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The price in Germany for this unit is 299 euros, with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
