Honor WIN Tablet Packs a 240Hz OLED Screen and 10,000mAh Battery Into an 8.4-Inch Gaming Slate

Honor is positioning the WIN Tablet as a compact alternative to larger gaming tablets, pairing an 8.4-inch display with flagship-class silicon in a body that measures 6.1mm thick and weighs 315 grams. The Android tablet uses Qualcomm’s 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and is available with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

Built for high-refresh mobile gaming

The 2304 × 1440 OLED panel has a 324ppi pixel density and supports refresh-rate modes of 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, 165Hz, 185Hz, and 240Hz. Honor rates peak brightness at up to 6,000 nits and says more than 40 games can run at 240Hz. The display also uses 4,440Hz PWM dimming for eye-comfort support.

Long gaming sessions are a central part of the hardware pitch. The WIN Tablet has a 10,000mAh battery, 66W wired charging, 27W reverse charging, and bypass charging, which can power the tablet directly rather than continually cycling the battery while plugged in. Two vapor chambers handle cooling, while dual X-axis linear motors provide haptic feedback.

It runs Android 17 with MagicOS 11. Honor’s Geek Center provides controls for display frequency, memory parameters, and battery-protection limits, while a Full Throttle mode is intended to prioritize maximum performance. Other hardware includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera.

China pricing and availability

The Honor WIN Tablet is scheduled to go on sale in China on October 31 in two configurations:

• 12GB RAM and 256GB storage: CNY 4,499
• 16GB RAM and 512GB storage: CNY 5,499

Honor has not confirmed a U.S. release, U.S. pricing, or broader international availability. On paper, the combination of a small 240Hz OLED panel, large battery, and bypass charging makes the WIN Tablet most relevant to players who want a more travel-friendly gaming device than a conventional large-screen tablet.
