Honor Magic V7 Rumor Points to a Bigger Tablet-Size Inner Display and 6,000mAh-Plus Battery

Honor’s next book-style foldable could lean further into tablet-like multitasking. A purported Magic V7 prototype detailed by tipster Digital Chat Station is said to have a larger inner screen, a battery above 6,000mAh, and an upgraded main camera system. The information is early and unconfirmed, and the device’s final hardware could change before any announcement.

More room for portable work and play

If the reported screen dimensions hold, the Magic V7 would offer a modest but meaningful increase in workspace when opened. That could be useful for viewing documents, playing games, or keeping two apps on screen at once—core reasons to choose a large foldable over a conventional flagship phone.

• A cover display of about 6.5 inches, close to the 6.52-inch panel on the current Magic V6.
• An approximately 8.15-inch inner display, up from 7.95 inches on the Magic V6.
• Ultra-thin glass (UTG) in the flexible inner screen structure.
• A battery with capacity above 6,000mAh.
• A next-generation flagship processor; a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6-series chip is only a possibility, not a confirmed specification.

Camera hardware could be a bigger focus

The leak also points to a 50MP main camera using a 1/1.28-inch SmartSens SC595 sensor, variable aperture, and an RYYB color filter array. By replacing green filters in a conventional RGB array with yellow ones, RYYB designs aim to gather more light, though real-world image quality will also depend heavily on Honor’s processing. A roughly 50MP periscope telephoto camera is also rumored, but there is no information yet on its optical zoom range.

A debut around March 2027 has been suggested based on the Magic V6’s launch timing, rather than on a confirmed Honor schedule. Pricing, U.S. availability, charging specifications, durability details, and the final chipset all remain unknown. If the larger display and battery claims prove accurate, the Magic V7 would appear aimed at buyers who want a foldable that can more credibly double as a compact tablet without sacrificing all-day mobility.
