Lenovo has already started teasing a brand new gaming tablet, dubbed Lenovo Legion Y700 Ultimate and now they’re heading towards the final stages of teasing. The full announcement will come in August, but in the meantime we got a full video regarding the device.

The slate seems to be called now Lenovo Legion Y700 Ultimate, but it could end up with another name, since this is the brute Chinese translation. The device comes with a physical SIM card slot and also an eSIM, offering dual SIM support and dual standby between the two of them. The design is also slightly tweaked from the Y700 Gen 5 before it, which came back in March without 5G connectivity.

Lenovo hasn’t mentioned any specs yet, but we do know from leaks we’ll for sure get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, just like the Y700 before it. The size is also pretty similar and the machine looks quirky in mauve. We should be getting the same 8.8 inch screen with a 3040 x 1904 pixel resolution.

The biggest upgrade here is probably moving on from an LCD screen to an OLED one.
