Motorola is preparing a rather important release for a tablet in India, a model dubbed Moto Pad 70 Groove. I must admit I haven’t seen this niche before: a music tablet, with no less than 9 JBL speakers integrated.

The device is set to launch on July 31st and it’s going to be a rather large tablet, at 12.1 inches. It also has a 2.5K resolution. The product already has an official page on Flipkart and it should come with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 800 nits in High Brightness Mode. There’s also HDR10 and Dolby Vision for media playback. Moto is saying that there’s a 10.200 mAh battery here, that provides up to 15 hours of video playback.

It also comes with a 68W power adapter, but the manufacturer has yet to confirm the charging speed. The 9 speakers mentioned above deliver a total output of 48 watts and support Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio. Sources say it may in fact be a rebranded Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2. If that’s the case, the device should have a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, a 13 megapixel main camera and an 8 megapixel selfie shooter.

I see we also get a kickstand and I definitely wonder how many years of updates are available.
