Huawei’s MatePad Pro 12 (2026) Brings a 4.7mm OLED Tablet Design to Europe

Huawei’s newest 12-inch flagship tablet is built around portability as much as screen size. The MatePad Pro 12 (2026), now introduced in Europe after its China debut last month, measures just 4.7mm thick and weighs 454 grams. That puts its slim, lightweight body at the center of a package aimed at reading, sketching, video, and keyboard-based work away from a desk.

The tablet supports the new M-Pencil Pro, including click-based interactions, and Huawei’s Glide Keyboard case includes a dedicated compartment for storing the stylus.

European model gets a smaller battery

Buyers in the European Union will receive a 9,760mAh battery, rather than the 10,400mAh pack used in versions sold in other regions. Both versions support 66W charging and up to 40W wired reverse charging. Huawei says the 10,400mAh model can fully charge in about 53 minutes and deliver up to 14.7 hours of battery life; it has not provided equivalent charging-time or endurance estimates for the smaller EU battery.
