Huawei MatePad Pro Max Tablet Getting a Smaller Version Soon
Huawei MatePad Pro Max is a brand new tablet from Huawei, that debuted recently and turns out it was so well received, that it’s getting a sequel already. A smaller version is incoming, according to Weibo tipster @FixedFocus.
The device is codenamed Dali and it’s expected to drop soon. The tipser says that the device is a more compact version of the MatePad Pro Max, that stands out right now through a big battery, a 10.400 mAh unit and a Kirin T chipset. It’s the equivalent of the Kirin 9030 Pro mobile CPU. The Chinese MatePad Pro Max debuted with a multispectral lens for the first time in Huawei’s history.
Then there’s the Huawei MatePad Mini 2, another smaller tablet in the works, ready for debut in H2 2026. MatePad Pro Max has a 3000 x 2000 pixel resolution, a PaperMatte Display option and a Kirin T93 Pro SoC. There’s also 12 GB of RAM, 16 GB of RAM and 20 GB even. Storage is 256 GB, 512 GB or even 1 TB. There’s also a 50 megapixel main camera, a 12 MP front camera, six speakers and the above mentioned battery supports 66W wired charge and 40W reverse wired charging.
